QUIXOTE EXPEDITIONS
is an expedition company
working in the Southern Oceans
from Argentina to Antarctica,
the Falkland Islands to South Georgia,
and all the seas in between.
Traveling to Antarctica by ship has its challenges. We sailed on the Ocean Tramp a 22 meter aluminum hull ketch built for these waters. There is no other experience quite like it. Stormy seas, large waves, wind, ice bergs and some of the aspects of this adventure. We saw Albatross, whales, penguins, skuas, and a variety of other marine and bird life.

Supporting Scientists
Each season, Quixote Expeditions brings 1-3 scientists on trips on the Ocean Tramp during the season. The post is an opportunity for a research scientists to be able to conduct research that they might not otherwise be able to access.
